ANDREI TRIFONOV Bass-Baritone
Andrei Trifonov was born in Siberia and graduated from the Byelorussian State Academy of Music, Minsk in 1989. In 1991 he completed his post-graduate studies with Professor Shatski at the same Academy. He was performed extensively in concerts with Byelorussian Chamber Choir, the Warsaw National Opera and Ukrainian Choirs.
He has performed in Germany, England, France, Austria, Switzerland and Luxemburg, has appeared as soloist with the national Philharmonic in Warsaw, at the opera house of Odessa, Chamber Opera of Ashdod (Israel) and at the New Israel Opera.

He also sung Salieri in "Mozart and Salieri" (Rimski-Korsakov) in chamber opera of Ashdod, at the New Israel Opera:

His concert repertoire includes Mozart Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Bach's St. John Passion,St. Matheus Passion and Christmas Oratorio, as well as number of arias and romances.
He has performed with following conductors: Igor Shavruk, Vasili Vasilenko, David Sipetiner, Hans-Peter Schurz, Jonathan Webb, Gary Bertini, Dan Ettinger, Eitan Globerson, Asher Fisch, Alberto Zedda, Roderick Brydon,Jiri Kout, Veronesi.
He was awarded the IV prize at the 1997 Bellini Competition in Ragusa, Italy as well as diplomas in the 1998 Verdi Competition in Varallo, Italy and in the 1999 Vinias Competition in Barcelona, Spain.
He has been living in Israel from July 2000.
